Stuart Little is no ordinary mouse. Born to a family of humans, he lives in New York City with his parents, his older brother George, and Snowbell the cat. Stuart's greatest adventure comes when his best friend, a beautiful little bird named Margalo, disappears from her nest. Determined to track her down, Stuart ventures away from home for the very first time in his life. He finds adventure around every corner. But will he find his friend?
“From the beginning, Hovde works wonders with the actors portraying multiple characters sometimes at lightening speed, with just a gesture or a sound. They help narrate and glide into and out of scenes with ease.” - Debbie Minter Jackson - DC Theatre Scene
“Guest director Colin Hovde of Theater Alliance has put “Stuart Little” onstage with the larger-than-life energy needed to keep the youngest kids enthralled without sacrificing the innate charm of E.B. White’s often ruminative tale by forcing his cast over the top. Like that third bowl of porridge for Goldilocks, this one is just right.” - Jane Horowitz - The Washington Post
